We were part of the Americal Division and up in I Corp above Chu Lai Got in country July 69 and back to the states July 70 I had 5 months left in the Army and I will be damned if they did not send me back up to Fort Lewis There I was assigned to the 3rd Armoured CAV as the Training NCO lived off base with my wife and actually had a pretty good time.
